Asphalt Repair and Parking Lot Resurfacing
Was this winter particularly hard on your driveway or parking lot? UmbrellaOne makes Driveway and Parking Lot Resurfacing a quick and easy process. Pavement resurfacing is the process of adding 1.5 to 2 inches of fresh asphalt over an existing driveway or parking lot.
When Should a Resurfacing Be Done?
Resurfacing is an ideal choice when your subgrade, the base below the surface of your pavement, is sound but the surface overlay is significantly damaged. The average lifespan of the overlay is 8 to 15 years, depending on how well maintained and traveled your driveway or parking lot may be.
The ideal time for Driveway and Parking Lot Resurfacing are the spring and summer months or when the temperature average is 50 degrees or above. Resurfacing in the cold can lead to seams which can lead to premature failure and deterioration.
The resurfacing process generally takes about a day, depending on the size of the lot and needs a day of rest to make sure it sets properly. The whole resurfacing and line striping process can usually be done over a weekend.
We also recommend annual maintenance to prolong the lifespan of the overlay. This usually includes crack filling and sealcoating after the 2nd year.

Parking Lot Sweeping & Portering
Many building managers find that having a full or part-time portering and cleaning service is a great way to keep their property clean and tidy throughout the day. The porter is responsible for keeping the buildings clean, dealing with spills, assisting with office moves, assisting with deliveries, opening and locking buildings and rooms as required, salting sidewalks and staircases in the winter-time, setting up and clearing down furniture for special events.
